Automatic payment recovery for older subscriptions
Release notes for safer recovery of older subscription payments.
When an older subscription payment fails, Perisclaw now safely retries the existing Stripe invoice during payment recovery. This can recover supported cards automatically without creating a separate charge or asking the customer to repeat checkout.
If the bank still requires approval or declines the payment, the usual payment link, reminders, and grace period remain available. New subscriptions continue to use the improved recurring-payment mandate setup introduced on September 16.
