Faster answers, cleaner follow-through, and plugin-ready WhatsApp

Release notes for Faster answers, cleaner follow-through, and plugin-ready WhatsApp.

August 21, 2026

Perisclaw now spends less time carrying instructions it does not need, keeps a cleaner view of who owes what, and is ready for the final OpenAI review steps that precede a public ChatGPT and Codex listing.

Faster, grounded answers

The assistant starts each conversation with a smaller working context and loads specialized skills only when the job calls for them. Everyday replies are quicker and less distracted, while status answers still verify the live chat or task before telling you what is pending.

(Server PR #290)

Follow-ups you can trust

Perisclaw is less likely to file an ask that was already answered, put an action on the wrong person, keep a passed event open, or show the same matter twice. Those changes make digests and follow-up lists quieter and more faithful to the conversation.

(Server PR #291)

Stronger privacy and connection controls

Chats you block from AI access now stay behind a hard boundary even when an assistant or connected app attempts a broad database, log, or workspace read. The connected-clients screen also makes permission differences, copy status, and revocation failures clearer so access is easier to understand and control.

(Server PR #294, Router PR #192)

Faster help when you need it

Perisclaw's support team now has one operational view of account activity, billing, logs, and runtime health. That shortens diagnosis while keeping the phone fleet on its reviewed source of truth.

(Router PR #191, Router PR #193)

Ready for OpenAI review

The WhatsApp MCP connection now includes the plugin package, safer permission and reconnect behavior, clearer setup guidance for ChatGPT and Codex, and the metadata OpenAI scans during submission. The plugin is not public yet: it still has to be deployed, scanned, reviewed, approved, and published in OpenAI's portal.

(Server PR #289, Router PR #185, Router PR #189)
