Product and setup
Does Perisclaw use my own WhatsApp number?
Yes. Perisclaw runs through your own WhatsApp number. Talk to it privately in your self-chat, or use /claw when you want help inside another chat.
Is it only for WhatsApp?
No. WhatsApp is where you talk to Perisclaw and where much of its context begins. It also works with your calendar, Drive, Sheets, and the other apps you connect.
Which apps can I connect?
Perisclaw supports Calendar, Drive, Sheets, Microsoft 365, Slack, Notion, and a growing set of other tools. Check the Apps page in the product for the current list.
What about email?
Email is coming soon. Perisclaw will connect to email the way it already connects to calendar and Drive. Until it is live, do not promise email workflows.
How long does setup take?
Connecting WhatsApp takes about a minute for most people. Other apps can be connected later, when they are needed.
Trial and pricing
What does an invite code do?
Without an invite code, starting a Perisclaw trial requires putting down a card. With a partner's invite code, the trial starts without one.
How much does Perisclaw cost?
Use the current Perisclaw website rather than quoting a price that may change.
Access and control
What can Perisclaw access?
Only the chats, services, and information the user authorizes. You can block individual chats, control whether Perisclaw can read or write, and disconnect an app at any time.
Does it read every chat?
No. The user controls which chats it can use. Block a chat, use WhatsApp Chat Lock, or add /ignore to a message you do not want the assistant to use.
Can it send messages or change things on its own?
Only with the authority the user gives it. By default, Perisclaw shows a draft and waits for approval before sending or changing anything. Users can allow more autonomy for a specific chat or automation when they are comfortable.
Data protection
How is user data protected?
Every user runs in their own isolated, encrypted environment. Data is never pooled with other customers, never used to train AI models, and no one on the team reads it. Perisclaw keeps no activity logs and no telemetry, and it is ISO 27001 certified and independently tested. Read Privacy & security for the full explanation.
