# What is Perisclaw? Canonical URL: https://docs.perisclaw.com/partners/what-is-perisclaw **Perisclaw is an AI executive assistant that lives in your WhatsApp and works with the full context of your conversations.** It keeps you on top of what matters across WhatsApp, calendar, Drive, email (coming soon), and any other apps you connect: the replies you owe, the promises you've made, the meetings coming up. It runs through your **own WhatsApp number**, not a separate bot or app to install. And while WhatsApp is where you talk to it, the work doesn't stop there: a request in a chat can become a calendar event, a filed document, an updated Sheet, or a job that keeps running for days. You talk to Perisclaw the way you'd text a sharp human assistant: ask, delegate, or think out loud. * **In the self-chat:** the WhatsApp chat with your own number is its home base. *"What's my day like?"*, *"Draft a polite no to this invite"*, *"Remember my wife's birthday is June 12th."* * **With `/claw` in any other chat:** summon it into a group or DM just for that moment: *"/claw summarize what I missed here."* * **By voice note:** it listens, understands, and acts, same as a typed message. * **With a 📎 reaction:** react to any message to save it straight into the personal wiki, no typing at all.
