# Voice that keeps up — talk over it, skip ahead

*June 2026*

Live voice in [**Tasks**](/changelog/releases/2026-06-23-tasks-dashboard.md) just got a real upgrade. It feels less like talking to a machine that waits its turn, and more like working through your list with someone sitting next to you.

## Talk over it — any time

You no longer have to wait for Perisclaw to finish before you speak. **Cut in whenever you want** — it stops, listens, and picks up your new direction on the spot, the way a real conversation works. No awkward pauses, no talking past each other.

## "Skip this — come back to it later"

Voice can now do everything the swipe deck can. Alongside *"mark it done"* and *"snooze it,"* just say **"skip this"** or **"I'll come back to it later"** and Perisclaw moves on to the next card — keeping that one in the deck for later, exactly like a swipe up.

## Right where your hands are

On phones the mic used to hide at the bottom of the screen. Now it sits **right on the task card, next to where you type** — so starting a hands-free run is one tap, wherever you are on the page.

## Steadier on its feet

We closed a loop where Perisclaw could occasionally pick up its own voice and run away with itself — repeating an action or talking in circles. It now stays locked on you, and only you.

**Also in this release:** your daily digest got noticeably sharper — fewer false alarms, quieter on busy group chats, and it no longer resurfaces things you've already dismissed.
