# Browser

Perisclaw has its own web browser on your private server. It can open
websites, sign in, click, and fill in forms. Logins stay saved between tasks.

For public information, Perisclaw searches the web instead. See

> **Try this:** Log in to the electricity board website and tell me my latest bill amount and due date.

## Watch it work

Open **Browser** in the dashboard to see the live screen. The status shows who
is in control:

* **Assistant in control:** Perisclaw is working. You can watch.
* **Needs you:** Perisclaw is stuck, for example at a login code or a CAPTCHA.
* **You are in control:** you're using the browser yourself.

## Take over

When Perisclaw needs you, it sends an **Open browser** link in WhatsApp. Open
it, choose **Take control**, and finish the step. Then choose
**Done · give back** and Perisclaw carries on.

You can take control at any time, not only when asked. An unclaimed request
for help lapses after 30 minutes.

## Save logins in the Vault

Go to **Settings → Browser Vault** to save a login for a website. Enter a name,
the website address, your username, and your password, then choose
**Save login**.

Passwords are encrypted and never shown to the AI. They're only filled in on
the exact website you saved. One-time login codes aren't stored, so Perisclaw
asks you for them.

Choose **Remove access** to delete a saved login. **Wipe all browser data**
signs the browser out of every site but keeps your Vault.

## Before it acts

Perisclaw asks you before it sends, submits, buys, or deletes anything on a
website.

**Info: Limits**

  The browser runs one task at a time, for up to 15 minutes. It can't
  download or upload files.
